Congratulations to the pupils of 6th class who were confirmed by Bishop Tom Deenihan in the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Ballymore on the 10th February 2026. Everyone looked fabulous for the event and we hope they all enjoyed their celebrations of the Sacrament.
Congratulations to our Junior School Quiz Team of Ava, Isla, Chloe, and Seán, who achieved an excellent 3rd place in the Junior Credit Union Quiz Competition. What a fantastic accomplishment!
Well done also to our Senior School Quiz Team of Daithí, Robert, Luke, and Isabella, who proudly represented our school in the Senior Credit Union Quiz Competition and finished in 4th place — narrowly missing out on 3rd place by just one point. An outstanding performance! A special mention goes to our 6th class quiz team members: · Luke, who has represented our school in the Credit Union Quiz for the past three years, · Daithí, who has proudly represented us twice, and · Isabella, who represented us so well this year. We have no doubt that Luke, Daithí, and Isabella will go on to represent their future secondary schools on many school quiz teams! A big thank you to West-Midlands Credit Union, especially Marise O'Toole, for organising such a fantastic quiz, and to our parents for supporting and transporting the children on the night. Finally, well done to all our quiz team members who worked so hard in preparation for the Credit Union Quiz. We are extremely proud of your achievements! Have a look at our projects on Denmark and the Vikings!! Well done to 2nd and 3rd Class on their great work!!!
Best of luck to our school quiz teams, who will represent Tang N.S. in the Credit Union Quiz on Sunday, 8th February in TUS. Daithí, Luke, Isabella and Robert will represent the school in the Senior Credit Union Quiz Competition. A special mention to Luke, who has proudly represented our school over the past three years as a member of both the Junior and Senior quiz teams — a fantastic achievement. Well done, Luke! Isla, Ava, Chloe and Seán will represent Tang N.S. in the Junior Credit Union Quiz Competition. We wish all our teams the very best of luck.
Well done to Éireann, who proudly represented Tang N.S. at the Minor Schools Gala in Galway at the weekend. Éireann won her heat in Backstroke and finished 4th overall in her age group. She has now qualified for the All-Ireland Minor Schools Gala, which will take place in the National Aquatic Centre.
