In line with our Well-being plan, we are making improvements and updating our yard resources. We are extremely grateful to Mr. Comey and Ms. Fitzgerald, who gave a generous donation through the Irish American Partnership, to help fund some of these improvements. We have purchased buddy benches, Giant Polydrons and Octogons, chalkboard flowers, wildlife signs and various posters, and a dartboard. We are in the process of erecting basketball hoops and creating a mural for our wall, in conjunction with the Creative Cluster, led by Ms. Tuite and our Creative School Squad and School Council. Below are some images of our yard so far
3rd and 4th Class had great fun taking part in an Easter Hunt today! They completed a series of challenges to open their Easter eggs, and even had to answer questions based on what they’ve learned this term. Well done to all of 3rd and 4th Class for their fantastic effort and hard work throughout the term!
We raised €140.20 from our action day for Green Schools. This money will be donated to Trócaire which supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals. A big thank you to our Parents Association for helping to organise and generously donating books for our Book Swapathon!
Congratulations to Jack Fahy for winning a Captain FAI Award! Jack received this award for his outstanding sportsmanship, football skills, and leadership. Well done, Jack!
