We would like to thank Mr. J. Martin Comey and his wife, Mary Lee, for their recent generous donation. The school have purchased new decodable readers and English resources, as well as Maths and gardening equipment. We look forward to using these in the new school year.

There was great excitement and joy in our school today, with Grannies and Grandads coming to visit. After a hearty welcome from Mrs Behan, the children proceeded to entertain their grandparents with songs, poems and tin whistle tunes. We also used this opportunity to celebrate our new Green Flag for Travel, and Claire Conlon did us the honour of raising it. Following this the grandparents were invited to have some tea and some tasty treats which parents had kindly donated. It was really wonderful to welcome our Grandparents and we hope they will have fond memories of the day. Below are some pictures of the day.

Well done to all the children in our school who won medals in the Community Games!!

The Junior & Senior Infants got out to do some Maths orienteering activities. They worked in groups to read and solve the Maths tasks and use their knowledge of maps to help find the task cards. They also were busy during playful learning being creative.

Well done to all the children in Junior Infants, Senior Infants, Third Class, Fourth Class, Fifth Class and Sixth Class who took part in buddy reading today. Super reading today!!!
