​Our school sports day took place on Wednesday 29th of May. We started the day with our fancy dress competition. There were some really clever and imaginative entries. Well done to the boys and girls who took part and to those who were lucky enough to win medals.
Afterwards we headed out to the basketball court and pitch where each team completed a number of activity stations.
Later in the day after everybody had eaten their ice creams, the children competed in a variety of races. There were plenty of happy faces and medals won. The weather cooperated and everyone had a most enjoyable day. Thanks to all that participated or helped out on the day.

The children of Junior & Senior Infants took advantage of the fine weather to work on their mapping and maths skills during their PE orienteering task. The children worked together in groups to solve the problems and puzzles hidden around the school yard, and certainly had lots of fun doing it!
