Last week we celebrated Friendship Week in Tang which ended on our special day Chummy Thursday. The children worked hard all week being kind and completing Random Acts of Kindness. Nominated children's acts of kindness were then placed on our Friendship Tree for all to see. Each class enjoyed activities such as secret friend and completed class work on the theme of friendship. We then came together on Chummy Thursday to sing our friendship song 'With A little Help From My Friends' and one child from every class was chosen to receive our Friendship Award. Well done to all of the children for their great displays of kindness, a great start to a year full of friendships!!

We welcomed our new Junior Infants to school on Thursday the 1st of September.  Everyone was excited to get started, meet new friends and have fun. Senior Infants were there on hand to help everyone settle into their new class.
