Huge excitement on Friday the 19th December in school as we held our annual Christmas Fundraising Draw. Thank you to everyone who sponsored and supported our Christmas Raffle this year. Congratulations to our winners and we wish you all a very Happy Christmas and every blessing for the New Year. See picture for the list of prizes and winners.  Here’s a quick look back at some of the activities we enjoyed in December. A big thank you to our 6th class students, Luke and Colm, for decorating my door and making it look so festive! This term 4th and 5th were busy learning about World War 1, how Little Miss Muffet made her curds and whey, and all about simple and parallel circuits in Electricity. They also completed some winter scene art. Take a look at the photos showcasing some of our impressive 6th class Christmas artwork! We are very grateful to Mr. Comey and Ms. Fitzgerald for their generous contribution to the school through the Irish American Partnership. With the monies we received the school purchased 8 new iPads and integrated keyboards. The children are delighted to be able to use these iPads for research, typing and interactive games. A huge thank you Mr. Comey, Ms. Fitzgerald and the Irish American Partnership for their continued support. |
