1st and 2nd class welcomed their grandparents into their classroom today. The grandparents did not realise they were in for such a treat! Not only did they listen to presentations about olden day artifacts and see the replicas the children created, they also listened to songs and tunes on the tin whistles, read the children's writing about a normal day as a child long ago, read some typing about the reasons why they, the grandparents are so special and even participated in an art activity of their own. It was a lovely afternoon and thank you to the children for all their hard work.
Sending our love to everyone today! 5th class were a terrific help last Friday in the Senior Infant classroom. They helped us create beautiful and thoughtful Valentine cards. Thank you 5th class. There were many lovely surprises around Tang this morning.

Last night's Carol Service in Tang Church was a lovely way to round off a busy term. The children from 1st -6th class led us in song as they told the story of the Nativity. We commend them on the lovely singing, narrating, acting, music and reflections. Well done children!
The Junior and Senior Infants performed the play 'Baubles' for all the parents this week. The children had a lot of lines to learn and scenes to remember. You all did a brilliant job. Well done boys and girls!
Well done to all the children who participated in the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal. A lot of thought, effort and generosity went into making the shoe boxes. They will no doubt bring lots of joy and happiness to many children around the world.
