4th and 5th class decided to take part in the reading initiative called 'Reading Wars.' This initiative aims to encourage children to read outside of regular classroom and homework time, fostering a love for reading and improving literacy skills. The initiative is a friendly competition designed to motivate children to engage in daily reading habits. Well done to Luke who was the overall 'Reading Wars' Champion. Luke recorded over 30 hours of reading on Seesaw over 6 weeks!!! Well done Luke!! Our overall runner up was Luke who recorded an impressive 15 hours on Seesaw!! Well done Luke!! Well done to Ethan who took first place in the Fifth class competition. Well done Ethan!! Also, well done to Kayleigh who came 2nd and Charlie who came 3rd in the Fifth class competition. Congratulations to Luke who also won the 4th class competition and to Luke who also came 2nd and Florence who came 3rd in our 4th class competition. Finally, well done to Óisín who received our Most Improved Reader Award!! Well done Óisín!! Well done everyone in 4th and 5th class for all the extra reading you have done over the last few weeks!!!
