A quick drive through the parish will show you the mounting excitement for the lads as we head into the Westmeath Intermediate Football Final this weekend. To add to that excitement, and to support the boys in the final, John Nally of Nally’s Circle K Ballymahon has generously offered to sponsor a 'Guess the Final score competition' for our school pupils. Each pupil gets to enter the draw for free. The top prize of €100 is up for grabs and will go to the lucky pupil(s) that guess the final score on Saturday. If no winner, the nearest score will apply. Scores will be collected from homework journals on Friday, so put your thinking hats on and help the children come up with a final score for Friday. We wish Mike Tumelty, his management team, Captain Aidan Burke and all our players and past pupils the very best of luck on Saturday. An Teanga Abú!
