Self Portraits from Senior Infants
To help us create these self portraits we used hand mirrors to check our face, eye, mouth and nose shapes. We also gave a lot of thought to the paints we used for our lips, eyes and hair before adding them. We had to mix them a lot to get the perfect shade. We think they have turned out pretty great. Enjoy!
Paper mache in Senior Infants and 1st class
It took us 6 weeks but we finally got to the end! First we glued newspaper and brown paper, in alternative layers, to our flower pots. Then we finished with a plain white layer. After that we removed the flower pots and tidied up the edges of our own pots. Next we painted a base colour and then painted on our own designs. The final step was varnishing. Don't they look fabulous?

Early Christian Ireland
The Children in 3rd and 4th class have been working hard on their Early Christian Ireland projects. The children completed their projects individually. They then worked in groups to create a model of a monastery. The projects were fantastic and the children should be very proud of themselves. Here are some pictures.
