We were privileged to receive a visit from past pupils and Intermediate All Ireland Winners Áine Lynn and Lorraine Duncan. These two amazing role models spent a few minutes with each class showing them the Mary Quinn Memorial cup and answering some very tough questions. Thank you ladies for being so generous with your time and for inspiring the next generation of GAA legends.

A big thank you to Tang GAA for inviting our 3rd & 4th Class boys and girls to the pitch this morning to plant about 600 daffodil bulbs along the walkway. As the boys and girls grow, they will see the bulbs in full bloom year after year and recall planting them with their classmates for many years to come.  Well done to Amy Rose, Isabella & Lucy Anna (and their ponies!) who represented Tang NS on Sunday the 10th October in the Interschools Show jumping Event held in Mullingar Equestrian Centre. Congratulations to all who participated!
The sun was shining down on us for our annual 5k school walk/run fundraiser. This year the children and staff completed it on our new pathway. We are very appreciative of the generous donation received from the Irish American Partnership this summer, which enabled us to install the pathway around the football pitch. The children walked, ran, hopped and skipped as much of the 21 laps as they could!! A big 'THANK YOU!' to all who supported and participated in our fundraiser. |
