Bhain na paistí go mór taitneamh as Seachtain na Gaeilge. Rinne siad a ndícheall chun Gaeilge a labhairt agus í a usáid i rith na seachtaine. Ní hé amháin seo, ghlac rang a trí go rang a sé páirt i dTráth na gCeist. Thaitin sé go mór leo.
We had a lovely afternoon participating in Paired Reading to celebrate World Book Day today in school.

Watch out Jamie Oliver and Rachel Allen!!!!!! There is some serious competition when it comes to cooking skills in Junior Infants
Junior Infants are learning all about spring and working on the farm this month. Pupils discussed dairy farming and how it has changed over time. They acted out milking a cow by hand and learned that it is from the cream of the milk that we make butter. Pupils then had to use a lot of strength to shake the cream to make butter. We could then see the buttermilk separate from the butter.
