Our Green Schools Committee in Tang NS are currently working towards our 6th Green Flag for Global Citizenship and litter/waste. As part of our Day of Action we held a Book Swapathon in our school hall on the 7th of March. This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to exchange used books, discover new stories and nurture a love for reading. We raised €130.50 on our action day and this will be donated to a charity which supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals. A big thank you to our Parents Association for helping to organise and generously donating books for our Book Swapathon!📚 Your support made this event a great success and helped spread the joy of reading. The children had a fantastic time making reading forts! 📚 This was a great book pushing event for World Book Day and tied in perfectly with Engineering Week. A fun and creative way to celebrate both reading and design!
