Our boys football team are the Cumann na mBunscol Iarmhí Champions after an unforgettable victory over St. Mary’s National School, Collinstown in only the second ever replay in the history of Cumann na mBunscol Iarmhí.  After fourteen long years, our boys have brought the title home for the first time since 2012, writing their names forever into school history. Every tackle, every score, every roar from the sideline showed the incredible spirit and pride of this team. They never gave up, never backed down, and played with heart from the first whistle to the last.

​ A massive well done and thank you to Mr. Killane for his tireless dedication, commitment, and countless hours of training and preparation. The hard work, belief, and passion he has put into this team shone through every minute of this historic victory. Thank you also to all the parents, families, supporters, and the wider local community who travelled to support the boys. The colour, noise, and encouragement from the sidelines lifted the team every step of the way. Special congratulations to Gavin on earning Player of the Match, and to Luke, who captained the team with pride and delivered a tremendous speech that represented the spirit of the group so brilliantly.

We want to wish the very best of luck to our incredible boys football team as they compete in the Cumann na mBunscol Iarmhí Final on Wednesday, 20th May at 4pm in Cusack Park, Mullingar. The boys will face St. Mary’s National School, Collinstown, in what promises to be an unforgettable occasion. Reaching a county final is an extraordinary achievement — one that reflects the outstanding talent, determination and teamwork that exists within our school. These boys have shown incredible heart and commitment throughout the year, and they have already made the entire school community immensely proud. A massive thank you to our coach Mr. Killane. His commitment to our boys football team is deeply appreciated.  Please come out and support our boys football team and make it a day to remember!!

Hard luck to our school hurling team in their semi-final today. While the result didn’t go our way, the team showed great determination, skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the match and can be very proud of their efforts. They represented the school brilliantly all year and gave everything right to the final whistle. A huge thank you also to Elaine for all her hard work, dedication, and commitment to the school team throughout the year. 

A big congratulations to our 2nd Class pupils who recently celebrated their First Holy Communion on Saturday. The children read their prayers beautifully and brought very special gifts to the altar. Well done 2nd class!!!

Congratulations to our boys’ soccer team, proudly representing Westmeath, on winning the Leinster Final today in the Schools FAI 5-a-side Cup Final! The team will now go on to represent Leinster in the All-Ireland Final at the  Aviva Stadium on Tuesday 9th June. We are immensely proud of the boys and wish them the very best of luck in the All Ireland!!

Congratulations to our soccer team, representing Westmeath, on their fantastic victory in the North Leinster A 5-a-side Cup in Navan today! ⚽🏆We are so proud of the team and their achievements so far in the competition. Huge thanks to Mr Horan for coaching and taking all our soccer teams to this competition. Wishing the school team the very best of luck in their Leinster Final on Tuesday, 5th May 2026.
