Please see below admissions notice for children starting school with us in Sept 2025. Applications will be accepted from the 1st of October 2024 until 6th of December 2024 and should be emailed to [email protected]. Applications forms and our Admissions policy are available to download at the following link Admission Policy . Have a look at our photos from some of our Halloween activities! Happy Halloween!!!!! This week we did an experiment to see what would happen if we added vinegar to baking soda. We discovered that when you add an acid (vinegar) to a base (baking soda), together with some fairy liquid and green food colouring for added effect, that you create a gas; Carbon Dioxide. Southern Gaels are in the Intermediate Hurling County Final this Saturday 26th October 2024 at 1.15 in Cusack Park, for the first time in 30 years and it’s been 38 years since they won it last.
All in Tang NS would like to take this opportunity to wish Southern Gaels and our past pupil Kieran Duncan the very best of luck in the final. Climate Action week took place from the 16th - 20th of October. The children completed a clean up of our school grounds. Their efforts contributed to making our environment cleaner and more sustainable! Maths Week took place from the 14th-18th of October. It was a great success as every class enjoyed maths games, activity boxes, class puzzles, maths quizzes and outdoor maths trails. Well done everyone!! All pupils have just completed a six week block of athletics training in T.U.S. They tried various disciplines including long jump, hurdles, relays, sprint and high jump. Our whole school had a jersey day to raise money for GOAL. We raised €235 for GOAL. Thank you very much for your generosity. Another great day out for our 6th Class this year in Mercy Convent Ballymahon! The day was a huge success for the TY's and gave our 6th class an opportunity to see the secondary school while participating in this very well run blitz. They enjoyed meeting other 6th class pupils from all around the midlands and tucked into some tasty chicken goujons and chips! Our team were winners of the Shield competition and a special award went to our very own Ross Finn for Male Player of the Tournament. Well done to Ross and to the team and a massive thank you to our hosts Mercy Convent Ballymahon TY students and teachers for organising. |
